2019 340 Blanc
2019 340 Blanc
Tasting Notes
Produced from our Home Block in Gladstone, this enticing blend is both rich and textural. Ripe pear and stonefruit, balanced by roasted cashews and hints of lemon-lime. An opulent palate that is focussed with minerality and a fine acid line.
94 Points | "Gorgeously complex and engaging, the wine shows apricot, orange peel, mixed spice and roasted nut characters with nuances of oatmeal and dried floral. It's impressively concentrated on the palate displaying excellent depth and richness, wondeerfully complemented by silky texture and bright acidity. Firmly structured and persistent. a field blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris and Riesling; matured in French oak barrels for 12 months. At its best now to 2029." - Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
93 Points | "An adventurous field blend of sauvignon blanc, pinot gris and riesling from 34 year-old vines. Aged in French oak barrels for 12 months. Rich, weighty wine with crisp, herbal flavours together with nut and bread crust characters. An appealing wine with character." - Bob Campbell MW, The Real Review 90 Points | "This has an array of pears, apples, limes and melon with light honeysuckle notes. The palate is fleshy, yet fresh with bright, crisp acidity below smooth fruit flesh. A field blend of sauvignon blanc, pinot gris and riesling." - James Suckling
